Your wages:

Pay rate: $18 an hour. Paid by DSPD Utah.

NOTE: FICA is a combination of Social Security and Medicare, and both the employer and the employee must contribute 6.2 percent for Social Security and 1.45 percent for Medicare.

As any other employment would do, this contribution will be removed by the fiscal agent.

The fiscal agent is Acumen. Through Acumen's DCI portal, you will enter your hours. I will approve your hours. Then, Acumen will count the amount in your approved pending entries. Soon, your paycheck will be deposited into your bank account.

It is possible to work around your schedule. The hours that are available will begin after 12 PM noon. 

As a student, you can pick any amount of hours that will fit into your schedule. You might want to work one hour on one day and a few hours on a different day. Moreover, if you have a whole day free, you might want to work a large block of hours.

If you are a parent and need to pick your child up from school, you could work a 2 1/2? hour shift from 12 PM. - 2:30 PM. Also, you might want to work some evening hours, after dinner, after bedtime, etc.
